Substance Abuse in the Workplace
JOIN ERC PRESIDENT AND CEO STEVE BAUE, with over 25 years in human resources, and Director of Clinical Services Jim Pecard, with over 30 years of EAP experience, specialized training in chemical dependency counseling, and SAP certification, as they discuss the reality of alcohol and drugs in our community and subsequently the workplace. Managers and employees will learn about the problems abuse and addiction can create in the workplace, behaviors that may indicate a problem, the progression of abuse to addiction, intervention options, and the role an EAP plays in finding resolution for the employer and their employees.
Personal Growth Programming
ERC: Counselors & Consultants offers Personal Growth Programming (PGP) for organizations and their employees. These one-hour group-training seminars are typically hosted onsite by employers and cover a variety of life and work topics focused on mental wellness, including emotional health, mindfulness, managing relationships, and communication. The purpose of these sessions is to increase employees’ understanding of mental health / wellness and provide resources and tips that support healthy, whole lives.
