ERC History

ERC was founded in 1992 by Lee Bouche, President and Owner. Having worked in the field of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) since the early 1980's, Lee saw a need for a free standing organization dedicated to assisting employers deal with the people issues that affected their organization. Lee was also dedicated to assisting employees and their families in proactively dealing with their personal concerns that affect their health, well-being and work performance. The dual focus became the core mission of ERC - Enhancing Lives. Maximizing Organizational Performance.

Over the years, ERC became one of the leading providers of EAP services in the State of Wisconsin. Over that time, ERC has developed many long and successful partnerships with our customers, and has expanded its services to meet the full array of 'people issues' faced within the workplace. In the late 1990's ERC began to expand its service offerings to address not only people issues in the workplace but also over-riding organizational issues that impact organizational performance. Today, ERC partners with its customers to offer the ASSIST EAP and the ACHIEVE Organizational Consulting service lines.

ERC prides itself on being fiscally accountable to its customers and demonstrating a return-on-investment for the customer. ROI measures report:

  • Over 75% of ERC clients resolve their issues within the short-term counseling (8-session model) provided by the EAP, thereby reducing health plan expenditures.
